From the North (e.g., Cincinnati)

Interstate 71 to Exit 44 (about 55 miles south of Cincinnati) and turn right...on Hwy 227N. Go 1.5 miles to General Butler State Resort Park.

From the South (e.g., Louisville)

Interstate 71 to Exit 44 (about 45 miles nortth of Louisville) and turn right...on Hwy 227N. Go 1.5 miles to General Butler State Resort Park.

From deeper South (e.g., Nashville)

Interstate 65 to Louisville...take Gene Snyder Freeway (East) around Louisville to I71 North (toward Cincinnati)...then see above directions.

From Lexington

Interstate route = I75 North to I71...then I71 south to Carrollton

Backroads route = Frankfort to Monterey on Hwy.127 N; then pick up 355 N through Gratz and through Perry Park to Hwy. 227; turn left (N) and stay on 227 to the park.

From Indiana

At Madison, Indiana, is a bridge across the Ohio River. After crossing, go upriver 12 miles on Hwy. 36 to Carrollton. Turn right on Hwy 227 (south) to General Butler State Resort Park.

From the Park's entrance

Once in the park, take the main road, which crosses the lake's dam. The golf course will be on your left...the Park's lodge (hotel) will be on your right...go just past it and turn right, next to the tennis court (across from the pro shop). The entrance to the parking lot is a metal gate set in a stone wall. The first building you'll come to will be the small one on your right. That is the Recreation Center. This is where you register to race.
