a motorcycle is made with intentions to have a motor, while a motorized bicycle is a bicycle with a motor added to it

A moped will have less then 50 cc displacement and cant travel faster the 25 mph and cant have more then 1.5 bhp. Motorized bicycles are considered to be a moped.
